Your child use a finger to trace the letter starting at the top and from left to right. (In order to start learning letters, your child will need a <strong>set of big curves, little curves, big lines and little lines in wood.<\/strong> You can purchase them at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lwtears.com\">https:\/\/www.lwtears.com<\/a> or make them your self. You might want to add a picture of a puppy, so that your child can say that puppy does not start with E! We can see the moon most days night or day. Eric Carle wrote <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me<\/span>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bOiw0zXQQBQ\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bOiw0zXQQBQ<\/a> Here is a printable template of the <strong>moon phases <\/strong>  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.123homeschool4me.com\/free-moon-phases-mini-book_28\/\">https:\/\/www.123homeschool4me.com\/free-moon-phases-mini-book_28\/<\/a>  As an extra activity of its movement, you need a medium ball to represent Earth and a small ball to represent the moon. Have your child go around the Earth ball holding the moon ball and explain that the moon is <strong>orbiting<\/strong> around Earth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the tune of \u201cOh, my Darling Clementine\u201d, we can sing: <strong>what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather like today? Is it cloudy, is it rainy, is it sunny, is it cold?<\/strong> (You can also change the weather words).<br>Let your child check the weather and tell you about it. You might want to ask your child to do a weather drawing that you can label. After viewing the book, help your child to sequence the story: what happened first, next and at the end. Brainstorm the different feelings your child and you had while reading the story. Were you sad, upset, curious, scared, happy? Would you change the ending? If so, how would you like the story to end?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Math<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a song \u201cShapes are all around\u201d by PinkFung <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lcl8uB2AWM0\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lcl8uB2AWM0<\/a> After listening to the song, send your child on a scavenger hunt to find the shapes in your home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>calendar<\/strong> is a <strong>daily<\/strong> activity to do with your child that develop number and pattern recognition. Here is the link to print a calendar to update daily with your child. The numbers of the tallies will be different every day. Extend the concept by comparing numbers: <strong>which has more? Which has fewer? Which are the same?<\/strong> <strong>How many more (count with fingers)?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Tractor Shape Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) green, yellow, white and black construction paper, (2) scissors, (3) glue, and (4) marker.<br>Directions: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cut 2 black circles out of black construction paper for wheels,<\/li><li>Cut 1 yellow rectangle for the window and 2 small circles to glue inside the big black circles,<\/li><li>Cut 1 green rectangle and 1 square for tractor body,<\/li><li>Glue all pieces together on white construction paper,<\/li><li>Use marker to draw the farmer in the window.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Your child might want to add more details to the tractor with construction paper or cut more shapes to build a farm, barn, animals, &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Tractor Mud Painting Art Project<\/strong>,  you need (1) paper, (2) toy tractor, and (3) mud or brown paint with sand in a bowl. This is called process art. Encourage your child to paint freely with a tractor and its wheels.
