I realize that you might have to survey other members of your family for the question of the day<\/strong> so that your child have enough tally marks to count or have your child put more than one tally mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the writing\/reading process,<\/strong> have your child trace or copy (advanced skill) daily<\/strong> his\/her name on paper\/dry eraser board\/ mini blackboard (kindergarten handwriting page) starting at the top of each letter (you could draw \ud83d\ude42) either in all uppercase letters or just first letter in uppercase and the rest in lowercase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making Letter T shape:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. 1 big line and 1 little line for capital T\/2 little lines<\/strong> for Lowercase t<\/strong>. Your child use a finger to trace the letter starting at the top, going down and going back up to make the straight line from left to right (https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MKrxgY2p5p0<\/a>).     A whole week activity<\/strong>:
    For the phonetic<\/strong> part, have a big yogurt container with a lid filled with small objects or pictures that start with the letter T (table, teddy, telephone, ten, top, tractor.) You might want to add a picture of a hippo, so that your child can say that hippo does not start with T!     On the tune of \u201cOh, my Darling Clementine\u201d, we can sing: what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather like today? Is it cloudy, is it rainy, is it sunny, is it cold?<\/strong> (You can also change the weather words).
    Let your child check the weather and tell you about it. You might want to ask your child to do a weather drawing that you can label. Some activities will be repetitive to create a routine that brings comfort to your child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      For Spooky Spider Counting Game, you need to download the counting mats https:\/\/www.123homeschool4me.com\/free-spooky-spider-counting-game\/<\/a> and have many mini plastic spiders\/black pipe cleaners cut and shaped spiders. Have your child put an amount of plastic spiders corresponding to the number in the center of the spider web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The calendar<\/strong> is a daily<\/strong> activity to do with your child that develop number and pattern recognition. Here is the link to print a calendar to update daily with your child.       Daily counting of tally marks<\/strong> and show your child a number card or write the number down to show your child. The numbers of the tallies will be different every day. Extend the concept by comparing numbers: which has more? Which has fewer? Which are the same?<\/strong> How many more (count with fingers)?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      For the Spider Web Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) paper plate, (2) yarn, (3) scissors, (4) hole puncher, (5) plastic spider, and (6) tape. You can also use a cut black pipe cleaner to make a spider instead of a plastic spider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Directions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Hole punch from 5 to 20 holes on the rim of paper plate, taking into consideration the age of your child.<\/li>
      2. cut a long piece of yarn, attach one end to the paper plate and wrap the other end with tape.<\/li>
      3. Spin the yarn in and out the paper plate crossing the middle of plate.<\/li>
      4. Attach the plastic spider to the web.<\/li>

        For the Painted Toilet Paper Spider Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) toilet paper roll, (2) black paint, (3) small paper plate, (4) scissors, (5) googly eyes, (6) glue and (7) white construction paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Directions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Cut strips on the toilet paper roll up to the middle of the roll.<\/li>
        2. curl strips out to shape a spider.<\/li>
        3. Drop black paint on small paper plate.<\/li>
        4. Dip paper roll spider in black paint.<\/li>
        5. Take white construction paper and print with painted paper roll spider.<\/li>
        6. Glue googly eyes in the center of printed spider.<\/li>
