You might want to add a picture of a hippo, so that your child can say that hippo does not start with T! Here is a book of T word pictures: <a href=\"https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/it-begins-with-t-minibook\/\">https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/it-begins-with-t-minibook\/<\/a> Also, you can add new objects\/pictures starting with the letter T every day and let your child explore the container all through the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bats<\/strong> are <strong>nocturnal<\/strong> mammals and National Geographic Video reveals interesting facts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NBCODnTUOrY\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NBCODnTUOrY<\/a> Bats use <strong>echolocation<\/strong> to fly at night.  Have you ever heard an echo of the sound of your words when you are in a room with high ceiling, under a bridge, in a cave&#8230;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this simple <strong>Echo Experiment<\/strong>, you need only a big and deep stainless steel pot. Your child can put his\/her head in front of the pot holding the 2 handles and say words like \u201chello.\u201d What does your child hear? Your child will hear the echo of his\/her voice, the sounds coming out of her\/his month that are bouncing on the stainless steel wall to your child\u2019s ears!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the tune of \u201cOh, my Darling Clementine\u201d, we can sing: <strong>what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather like today? Is it cloudy, is it rainy, is it sunny, is it cold?<\/strong> (You can also change the weather words).<br>Let your child check the weather and tell you about it. You might want to ask your child to do a weather drawing that you can label. Some activities will be repetitive to create a routine that brings comfort to your child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language Arts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bats are often associated to scary stories, but are in fact cute animals. In the first two books, you and your child can <strong>count<\/strong> what is swallowed and bats. In <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Stella Luna<\/span>, the theme of friendship is introduced. Bats are sleeping,<br>Upside down, upside down.  <br>Sleeping in the day sun.  <br>Waiting for the night to come.  <br>Then, they\u2019ll fly around. Then, they\u2019ll fly around!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Math<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>calendar<\/strong> is a <strong>daily<\/strong> activity to do with your child that develop number and pattern recognition. Here is the link to print a calendar to update daily with your child. The numbers of the tallies will be different every day. Extend the concept by comparing numbers: <strong>which has more? Which has fewer?
