(Blow kisses) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the writing\/reading process,<\/strong> have your child trace or copy (advanced skill) <strong>daily<\/strong> his\/her name on paper\/dry eraser board\/ mini blackboard (kindergarten handwriting page) starting at the top of each letter (you could draw \ud83d\ude42) either in all uppercase letters or just first letter in capital\/uppercase and the rest in lowercase. Your child use a finger to trace the letter starting at the top, going down, around from left to right and back up. You might want to add a picture of a cat, so that your child can say that cat does not start with O! Is it cloudy, is it rainy, is it sunny, is it cold?<\/strong> (You can also change the weather words).<br>Let your child check the weather and tell you about it. You might want to ask your child to do a weather drawing that you can label. Some activities will be repetitive to create a routine that brings comfort to your child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language Arts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We remember! Depending of your child\u2019s skills, write numbers from 1-6, 1-10, or 1-20 on the sheet of paper. Each player roll a die or dice, depending on the numbers written. Cross out the number on the paper corresponding to the amount on the die or dice each time. The winner is the  player crossing out the last number(s). For more advanced play, a player can do simple additions.  For instance, if a player rolls a 7, a player can cross out 3 and 4.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>November is here! The <strong>calendar<\/strong> is a <strong>daily<\/strong> activity to do with your child that develop number and pattern recognition. Here is the link to print a calendar to update daily with your child. The numbers of the tallies will be different every day. Extend the concept by comparing numbers: <strong>which has more? Which has fewer? Which are the same?<\/strong> <strong>How many more (count with fingers)?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Thank You for Your Service Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) heart print out (<a href=\"https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/the-heart-is-pink-coloring-page\/\">https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/the-heart-is-pink-coloring-page\/<\/a>) and blank sheet of paper, (2) white, red and blue tissue paper, (3) scissors, (4) glue, and (5) black marker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Directions: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cut and glue heart print out on a blank sheet of paper.<\/li><li>Cut little squares of white, red and blue tissue paper.<\/li><li>Crumble up little squares and glue them on the heart in pattern of choice.<\/li><li>Write \u201cThank You for Your Service\u201d at the top of the page with marker, sign it and give it to a veteran.<\/li><li>Picture <a href=\"https:\/\/veteransdayblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Veterans-Day-Crafts-Ideas.jpg\">https:\/\/veteransdayblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Veterans-Day-Crafts-Ideas.jpg<\/a> (where you can glue a blue paper at the back and cut one end to make the shape of a flag.)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Painted Flag Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) sheet of white construction paper, and (2) white, blue and red paint with brush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Trace the flag on white construction paper.
