(Blow kisses) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the writing\/reading process,<\/strong> have your child trace or copy (advanced skill) <strong>daily<\/strong> his\/her name on paper\/dry eraser board\/ mini blackboard (kindergarten handwriting page) starting at the top of each letter (you could draw an emoji \ud83d\ude42) either in all uppercase letters or just first letter in capital\/uppercase and the rest in lowercase. You might want to add a picture of a pig, so that your child can say Dog that does not start with B! In the classroom, I would put mittens, hats and scarves in the sensory bin with warm water and some soap. I would demonstrate how to wash clothes by hand. Children loved it! I would recommend setting a wash tub up and showing your child how to rub clothes together with soap explaining it detaches the dirt particles. I also had a cloth-line with cloth-pins! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the tune of \u201cOh, my Darling Clementine\u201d, we can sing: <strong>what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather like today? Is it cloudy, is it rainy, is it sunny, is it cold?<\/strong> (You can also change the weather words).<br>Let your child check the weather and tell you about it. Then, your child can practice writing number 2 either:    <br>1. Practice Writing Number 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/practice-writing-the-number-2-3-coloring-page\/\">https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/practice-writing-the-number-2-3-coloring-page\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Color<\/strong> <strong>Popsicles Math Activity<\/strong>, you need to lay any scarf down flat for patterning and have colorful popsicle sticks on hand. Start a pattern with one blue, one red, one blue popsicle stick and encourage your child to finish the pattern. Make as many different patterns as you and your child want.<br><br>January just started. The <strong>calendar<\/strong> is a <strong>daily<\/strong> activity to do with your child that develop number and pattern recognition. Here is the link to print a calendar to update daily with your child. The numbers of the tallies will be different every day. Extend the concept by comparing numbers: <strong>which has more? Which has fewer? Which are the same?<\/strong> <strong>How many more (count with fingers)?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Free Watercolor Day! <\/strong>All you need is a sheet of paper, watercolor with brush and a cup of water!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Pattern Paper Scarf Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) scissors, (2) long large strip of construction paper, (3) yarn, (4) hole puncher, (5) markers, strips of color construction paper\/ stamps\/ color tape\/ paint with brush\/ or any decoration.    <br>Directions:    <br>1. Take the long large strip of construction paper. It is your scarf.    <br>2. Design a pattern and use markers, strips of color construction paper\/ stamps\/ paint with brush\/ or any decoration.   <br>3. Hole punch 5 holes at each end of scarf.    <br>4.
