(Blow kisses) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the writing\/reading process,<\/strong> have your child trace or copy (advanced skill) <strong>daily<\/strong> his\/her name on paper\/dry eraser board\/ mini blackboard (kindergarten handwriting page) starting at the top of each letter (you could draw an emoji \ud83d\ude42) either in all uppercase letters or just first letter in capital\/uppercase and the rest in lowercase. If your child is starting to write on paper, you can write your child\u2019s name with a highlighter and your child can use a crayon to trace it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I realize that you might have to survey other members of your family for the <strong>question of the day<\/strong> so that your child have enough tally marks to count or have your child put more than one tally mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Which pet has 4 legs?    <br>DOG \ud83d\udc15\/ BIRD \ud83d\udc26\/ RABBIT \ud83d\udc07\/ CAT \ud83d\udc08\/ FISH \ud83d\udc20 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have <strong>My First School Book <\/strong>from <strong>Handwriting Without Tears<\/strong> methodology <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lwtears.com\/hwt\">https:\/\/www.lwtears.com\/hwt<\/a>. Have your child complete <strong>pages 60 and 61. <\/strong>Your child can also <strong>practice writing number 6 on page 84.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A whole week activity<\/strong>:<br>For the <strong>phonetic<\/strong> part, have a big yogurt container with a lid filled with small objects or pictures that start with the letter N (nails, name, nap, near, neck, need, needle, nest net, never, new, next, nice, night, nine, no, noise, nose, not, now, number, nurse, nursery, nuts). You might want to add a picture of an Mouse, so that your child can say mouse does not start with N! Practice letter N:<a href=\"https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/practice-writing-the-letter-n-coloring-page\/\"> https:\/\/www.first-school.ws\/t.asp?t=http:\/\/www.first-school.ws\/images\/alpha\/ap4_zb_tracers\/n5.gif<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s review <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Color Mixing<\/span> with making a simple <strong>Color Wheel<\/strong> with three <strong>primary colors<\/strong> (yellow, red, blue) and 3 <strong>secondary colors<\/strong> (orange, green and purple)! For the Color Wheel, you need (1) big white paper plate, (2) black marker, and (3) paint with brush.   <br>Directions:    <br>1. Divide the big paper plate into 6 slices (like 6 pizza Slices).   <br>2. Paint the first slice yellow, the second orange, third red, fourth purple, fifth blue, sixth green. This way a secondary color is between the 2 primary colors and is an excellent visual support for color learning. You can hang it with a piece of yarn on your door knob or wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the tune of \u201cOh, my Darling Clementine\u201d, we can sing: <strong>what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather like today? Is it cloudy, is it rainy, is it sunny, is it cold?<\/strong> (You can also change the weather words).<br>Let your child check the weather and tell you about it. Brainstorm with your child what are the characteristics of a rabbit\/bunny (4 legs, fur, animal, long ears, whiskers,&#8230;) and what it needs to live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>an advanced activity<\/strong>, have your child fill in a simple <strong>story map<\/strong>. Take a sheet of paper and divide it into 3 equal size parts. Write \u201cBeginning\u201d, \u201cMiddle\u201d, and \u201cEnd\u201d and encourage your child to make a drawing about the beginning, the middle and the end of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLittle Bunny Foo Foo\u201d <strong>Song and Movement<\/strong>    <br>Little Bunny Foo Foo was hopping through the forest (make moving bunny ears with fingers).   <br>Scooping up the field mice and bumping them on the head (scooping movement with other fist bumping).   <br>Down came the good fairy and she said, \u201cLittle Bunny Foo Foo, I don\u2019t want to see you, (\u201cno\u201d movement) <br>Scooping up the field mice and bumping them on the head. Here today, goon tomorrow!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Math<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>Bunny Roll and Cover Math Game,<\/strong> you need (1) sheet, (2) empty toilet paper roll, (3) tempera paint, (4) small paper plate, (5) black marker, (6) die (dice &#8211; advanced).   <br>Directions:   <br>1. Drop some tempera paint on small paper plate.  <br>2. Dip empty paper towel end in paint.   <br>3. Print on paper sheet, three painted circles together for rabbit\u2019s head and ears.  <br>4. Make 6 to 12 painted rabbits or more. <br>5. Once dry, label each rabbit with a number: 1-6 (1-12 for advanced).  <br>6. Roll die (dice) and cross out number corresponding to the number of dots on die rolled (dice).   <br>7. Continue rolling until all numbers are crossed out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Independent Practice:<\/strong><br>Bunny Number Matching <a href=\"https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/bunny-number-matching-coloring-page\/\">https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/bunny-number-matching-coloring-page\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>February is here to stay! The <strong>calendar<\/strong> is a <strong>daily<\/strong> activity to do with your child that develop number and pattern recognition. Here is the link to print a calendar to update daily with your child. The numbers of the tallies will be different every day. Extend the concept by comparing numbers: <strong>which has more? Which has fewer? You can transform into a bunny headband if you glue all on a strip of construction paper fitting around your child\u2019s head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Marble-Painted Bunny Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) box without top (cover of printing paper box), (2) marbles or anything rolling, (3) tempera paint, (4) glue, (5) googly eye, (6) big pompom, (7) scissors, (7) construction paper color of choice and (8) bunny template <a href=\"https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/my-colorful-rabbit-coloring-page\/\">https:\/\/twistynoodle.com\/my-colorful-rabbit-coloring-page\/<\/a>.    <br>Directions:   <br>1. Cut template out of construction paper of choice.   <br>2. Put paper bunny in box with a few drops of tempera paint and marbles.  <br>3. Move the box side to side to make marbles roll in the paint side to side, up and down,&#8230;<br>4.
