(Blow kisses) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the writing\/reading process,<\/strong> have your child trace or copy (advanced skill) <strong>daily<\/strong> his\/her name on paper\/dry eraser board\/ mini blackboard (kindergarten handwriting page) starting at the top of each letter (you could draw an emoji \ud83d\ude42) either in all uppercase letters or just first letter in capital\/uppercase and the rest in lowercase. If your child is starting to write on paper, you can write your child\u2019s name with a highlighter and your child can use a crayon to trace it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I realize that you might have to survey other members of your family for the <strong>question of the day<\/strong> so that your child have enough tally marks to count or have your child put more than one tally mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>How to do the rhyming \u201dHop on&#8230;&#8230;\u201d.<br>BOB \/ CAT \/ POP \/ COP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Make Letter V Shape:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-784cf38b-c20f-4134-af34-afe976081bc8\"><li><strong>2 big lines for capital V\/ 2 little lines for Lowercase v<\/strong>. Your child use a finger to trace the letter starting at the top, going diagonally down, and then back up diagonally. You might want to add a picture of an Ninja, so that your child can say Ninja does not start with V! Brainstorm with your child a funny juice name that you will make. For a simple juice recipe, you need (1) lemons or oranges, (2) water or seltzer water, (3) sugar, (4) 1 quart pitcher, (5) manual  juicer, (6) spoon, and (7) cups.   <br>Directions:    <br>1. Use manual juicer to squeeze 1 cup of juice from 2-6 lemons or oranges and pour it in pitcher.   <br>2. Add 1 cup of sugar and water to fill the pitcher.   <br>3. Mix with spoon and pour in cups. Enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the tune of \u201cOh, my Darling Clementine\u201d, we can sing: <strong>what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather like today? Is it cloudy, is it rainy, is it sunny, is it cold?<\/strong> (You can also change the weather words).<br>Let your child check the weather and tell you about it. You might want to ask your child to do a weather drawing that you can label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language Arts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Seuss Literature:<br>1. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Hop on Pop<\/span> by Dr. Seuss<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7-E1wOd7-k8\"> https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zPxN4iFN9Go<\/a><br>2. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Mr. Brown Can Moo! By Dr. Seuss (advanced) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fmOCyP4VyP4\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fmOCyP4VyP4<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After viewing a book, brainstorm with your child the rhymes in the story and the positional words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Math<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Map Reading and Making is fun!<\/strong> Show a paper or virtual map of your neighborhood, town,&#8230; and point with a finger the way to different places your family goes regularly. Be sure to give access to a map wherever you go on foot, by bike or with a car. As an activity, brainstorm with your child the roads and details around your home and encourage your child to draw them on a large piece of paper with crayons\/markers with you. For <strong>further exploration<\/strong>, take your drawn map with you on trips that your child can expand with more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>February is here to stay! The <strong>calendar<\/strong> is a <strong>daily<\/strong> activity to do with your child that develop number and pattern recognition. Here is the link to print a calendar to update daily with your child. The numbers of the tallies will be different every day. Extend the concept by comparing numbers: <strong>which has more? Which has fewer? Which are the same?How many more (count with fingers)<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All the Places You will Go! Picture Frame <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seussville.com\/activity\/oh-the-places-youll-go-picture-frame\/\">https:\/\/www.seussville.com\/activity\/oh-the-places-youll-go-picture-frame\/<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>Hot Air Balloon Picture Frame Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) small white paper plate, (2) a trapezoid out of blue construction paper, (3) 2 thin strips of white construction paper or 2 white pipe cleaners or 2 white straws, (4) tape or glue, (5) little squares of tissue paper, (6) a picture of your child, and (7) marker. <br>Directions:    <br>1. Glue little squares of tissue paper (any color) on small paper plate for balloon.    <br>2. Attach construction paper trapezoid or basket to small paper plate with paper strips, pipe cleaners or straws using tape or glue.    <br>3. Tape your child\u2019s picture between basket and balloon.  <br>4.
