(Blow kisses) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the writing\/reading process,<\/strong> have your child trace or copy (advanced skill) <strong>daily<\/strong> his\/her name on paper\/dry eraser board\/ mini blackboard (kindergarten handwriting page) starting at the top of each letter (you could draw an emoji \ud83d\ude42) either in all uppercase letters or just first letter in capital\/uppercase and the rest in lowercase. If your child is starting to write on paper, you can write your child\u2019s name with a highlighter and your child can use a crayon to trace it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I realize that you might have to survey other members of your family for the <strong>question of the day<\/strong> so that your child have enough tally marks to count or have your child put more than one tally mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>What do tractors pull?    <br>ANIMALS \/ AIRPLANE \/ PEOPLE \/ HAY \/ SHOES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Make Letter X Shape:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-589ec132-cbc6-4a08-bea0-5b7f41d1a0b8\"><li><strong>2 big lines for capital X\/ 2 little lines for Lowercase x<\/strong>. Your child use a finger to trace the letter starting at the top, going diagonally down, and then jump back up, going diagonally the other way. You might want to add a picture of a whale, so that your child can say Whale does not start with X! For this activity, you need a toy tractor. Brainstorm with your child what a tractor can pull (toy animals, blocks,&#8230;.), design (wagon, attachment,&#8230;.) and experiment it. What did you discover? How many objects does your tractor pull?<br><br>On the tune of \u201cOh, my Darling Clementine\u201d, we can sing: <strong>what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather, what\u2019s the weather like today? Is it cloudy, is it rainy, is it sunny, is it cold?<\/strong> (You can also change the weather words).<br>Let your child check the weather and tell you about it. Brainstorm with your child what you know about tractors. Discuss how\/when your child can go on a tractor (farm, agricultural fair, &#8230;.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>an advanced activity<\/strong>, have your child fill in a simple <strong>story map<\/strong>. Take a sheet of paper and divide it into 3 equal size parts. Write \u201cBeginning\u201d, \u201cMiddle\u201d, and \u201cEnd\u201d and encourage your child to make a drawing about the beginning, the middle and the end of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUp on the Tractor\u201d <strong>Song<\/strong> (\u201cUp on the Rooftop\u201d tune) <br>Up on a tractor, a farmer steers,   <br>T\u2019is the best time of the year.   <br>Being in the field. It\u2019s what to do.     <br>Working so hard the whole day through.   <br>Oh, oh, oh, the tractor goes.  <br>Oh, oh, oh, the tractor goes.   <br>Up on the tractor, a farmer steers.   <br>T\u2019is the harvest time of the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Math<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With different types of tractors, your child can do <strong>sorts<\/strong> (by colors, sizes and shapes) or <strong>patterns<\/strong> (AABB, ABBA, ABAB,&#8230;).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a <strong>Dice Game<\/strong>, you need (1) piece of paper, (2) die (dice for advanced), (3) markers, and (4) stickers. Draw circles on paper and write a  number 1-6 in each circle (1-20 for advanced). Encourage your child to roll the die (dice-advanced) and cover the number written that corresponds to the number of dots on die (dice) with a sticker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spring is in the air in March! The <strong>calendar<\/strong> is a <strong>daily<\/strong> activity to do with your child that develop number and pattern recognition. The numbers of the tallies will be different every day. Extend the concept by comparing numbers: <strong>which has more? Which has fewer? Which are the same?How many more (count with fingers)<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>Simple Tractor Wheels Painting Art Project,<\/strong> you need (1) paper, (2) tempera paint, (3) tractor and (4) marker.   <br>Directions:   <br>1. Pour some tempera paint on paper.    <br>2. Roll tractor in paint back and forth, up and down, diagonally  and at tire tracks.  <br>3. Label: \u201cI painted with a tractor\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>Simple Popsicle Stick Tractor Art Project<\/strong>, you need (1) 6 Popsicle sticks green or to paint with green tempera paint, (2) white, black, blue and yellow construction paper, (3) scissors, (4) glue, and (5) markers.   <br>Directions:    <br>1. Glue 4 green popsicle sticks horizontally on blue construction paper to form body of tractor.   <br>2. Cut 2 green popsicle sticks into 2. Glue the 4 pieces to make the tractor\u2019s window on top of tractor\u2019s body.<br>3. Cut 2 black circles and 2 smaller yellow circles to fit into black ones to shape tractor\u2019s wheels, and glue at bottom of tractor\u2019s body. <br>4. Cut white square to glue on tractor\u2019s popsicle window.   <br>5.
