Going on a hike with young children is a lot of fun, but challenging at times. Two important rules to remember for a pleasant hiking experience with your child are: go with the snail pace and bring many different snacks. Even a lollipop can keep your child occupy for hours while hiking. Here are some games you can explore together:

For this experiment, you need (1) 7 plastic transparent cups, (2) pitcher of water, (4) 4 food coloring tubes, and (5) paper towel.
