We explored a farm animal with horns: goats. Did you know that sheep have horns too? Goats have straight horns and sheep have rounded horns. Let’s observe them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zu0Xa0pYjD0
The mommy sheep is a ewe, the daddy a ram and the baby sheep is a lamb.
Science
What’s the weather today? According to weather folklore, March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. What does that mean? March startles the winter/spring line. April is definitely in Spring. Let’s take a sheet of paper and divide it into 2 columns: one for Winter weather signs and one for Spring weather signs. Help your child come up with weather signs for Winter and Spring and write them down.
If your child has a journal, write down what your child says and date the entry.

”Mary Had a Little Lamb” Nursery Rhyme
Mary had a little lamb,
whose fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go.
It followed her to school one day
which was against the rules.
It made the children laugh and play,
to see a lamb at school.
“Baa, Baa Black Sheep” Nursery Rhyme
Baa, baa black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full!
One for the master,
And one for the dame,
One for the little boy
Who lives down the lane?
Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full.
”Little Bo-Peep” Nursery Rhyme

Wagging their tails behind them.
